Blue Water Express Watermaker
The Blue Water Express is a compact semi-automatic reverse-osmosis watermaker for small and mid-sized yachts. Current manufacturer capacities range from 360 to 800 GPD (1,360–3,030 LPD). Traditional switches and a manual high-pressure valve are paired with electronic water-quality monitoring, automatic product-water diversion and Fresh Water Flush.
Blue Water Express Watermaker
The Blue Water Express Watermaker brings the Explorer-style semi-automatic control philosophy into a smaller package intended for small and mid-sized yachts with tighter machinery spaces.

Models, Capacity & Selection
The current Express range starts at 360 GPD and extends to 800 GPD. Selection should be based on the vessel’s expected daily freshwater demand, available run time, electrical supply and installation space.
Why This Matters Onboard
This series is intended for owners and engineers who prefer traditional manual pressure control but need a compact watermaker with automatic diversion and water-quality monitoring.

Frequently Asked Questions
Should I choose Express 360 or 600 if my yacht has limited power available?
Express 360 is rated at 15 gallons per hour and 13 A running at 110 V; Express 600 delivers 25 gallons per hour but draws 26 A. Compare your required production hours and generator starting capacity before choosing the larger unit.
Does Express 800 need more feed water than Express 600?
Both list 3 GPM feed flow and the same electrical currents, while rated freshwater output rises from 25 to 33 gallons per hour. This helps compare new systems, but does not establish a drop-in upgrade for an existing Express 600.
Should I order Express or Express XT for operation from an awkward location?
Express requires manual pressure adjustment. Express XT offers automatic one-touch operation, making it the relevant alternative when the watermaker is hard to access.
Can I buy one replacement membrane for any Express capacity?
Blue Water provides separate membrane drawings for Express 360, 600 and 800. Match the installed capacity and membrane identification before ordering; the shared Express name is not enough to select a replacement.
