Marine water treatment accessories are the fittings, housings, meters, cleaning products, and maintenance consumables that keep onboard water systems connected, maintained, and performing correctly. Whether you need to disinfect your water tanks, test your watermaker’s output quality, service your high-pressure pump, clean your air conditioning ducts, or fit out a new filtration installation, Yacht-Mate Products stocks the marine-grade accessories that professional captains, crew, and boat owners rely on across South Florida and worldwide.
From our Fort Lauderdale warehouse we supply cleaning products, meters and test kits, and fittings for every application in the onboard water system — backed by over 25 years of marine water treatment expertise.
BioTab7 — Advanced Biocide for Marine Water Systems
BioTab7 is one of the most effective water disinfection and biocide products available for marine applications. Used by professional captains, superyacht crew, and marina operators worldwide, BioTab7 effervescent tablets provide fast, reliable disinfection of fresh water tanks, holding tanks, bilges, and marine plumbing systems without leaving harmful chemical residues.
Available in 1g tablets — 50 or 100 per pack for routine onboard use, and 20g tablets — 25 per pack for larger vessel applications and commercial use. BioTab7 is NSF-certified, safe for potable water systems, and one of the most versatile marine biocide products on the market. Available in bulk case quantities for marinas, charter fleets, and superyacht programs.
BioTab7 is also effective for black water tank odor control and bilge disinfection — a single product that works across multiple onboard applications.
Water Quality Testing — TDS Meters & Test Kits
Knowing your water quality is not guesswork — it’s a measurement. A Digital TDS Meter is an essential tool for any vessel with a watermaker, allowing you to verify that your reverse osmosis membranes are producing water within safe drinking water parameters. Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) readings give you an immediate indication of membrane performance and water purity — if TDS rises, it’s an early warning that membranes or pre-filters need attention.
For broader water quality monitoring, our Meters & Test Kits range includes the Digital Water Meter for accurate flow measurement and HACH water testing solutions for professional-grade water quality analysis onboard.
Cleaning Products — Gelair, Biologic & Tank Treatment
A clean onboard water system starts with the right cleaning products. Our cleaning products range covers three key areas:
Air conditioning and duct cleaning — Gelair Coil and Duct Cleaner is a tea tree oil-based solution that cleans marine AC coils and ductwork, eliminating mold, bacteria, and the musty odors that build up in South Florida’s heat and humidity. Available in a 750ml spray bottle for onboard use and a 20L refill tub for larger vessels and trade applications.
Black water tank odor control — Biologic One Shot uses biological enzymes to break down waste and eliminate holding tank odors at source — available in cases of 12 for regular onboard use.
Watermaker pump maintenance — keeping your high-pressure pump properly lubricated extends its service life significantly. We stock Cat Pump Oil in 21oz bottles and GP Pump Oil in 16oz bottles for the most commonly installed marine watermaker pump types.
Fittings & Installation Accessories
A properly fitted water system depends on quality connections. Our fittings range includes filter housing components, John Guest push-fit fittings, Sharkbite connectors, and Watts flow control fittings compatible with standard marine plumbing configurations. We also stock 10-inch and 20-inch Big Blue filter housings in clear and blue configurations — the most widely used housing sizes across marine water filtration systems.
If you’re fitting out a new installation or replacing a housing on an existing system, our Fort Lauderdale team can advise on the correct configuration for your vessel.

FAQ's
What is BioTab7 and how is it used on a boat?
BioTab7 is an NSF-certified effervescent biocide tablet used to disinfect fresh water tanks, holding tanks, bilges, and marine plumbing. Drop the correct number of tablets into the system based on volume, allow to dissolve and circulate, then flush. Safe for potable water systems, it leaves no harmful residues and is used by superyacht crew and professional captains worldwide. Available in 1g and 20g tablet sizes.
How do I test the water quality from my boat's watermaker?
Use a Digital TDS Meter to measure Total Dissolved Solids in your watermaker output. Drinking water should typically read below 500 ppm TDS, with well-performing watermakers producing water in the 50–200 ppm range. A rising TDS reading is an early indicator that membranes or pre-filters need servicing. Yacht-Mate stocks TDS meters and water testing equipment from our Fort Lauderdale warehouse.
What pump oil does my marine watermaker need?
This depends on your pump type. We stock Cat Pump Oil for Cat Pumps and GP Pump Oil for General Pump units — the two most commonly installed high-pressure pump types in marine watermakers. Check your watermaker manufacturer's specifications and contact our team if you need help identifying the correct lubricant.
How do I get rid of mold and bad smells from my boat's air conditioning?
Gelair Coil and Duct Cleaner is specifically formulated to clean marine AC coils and ductwork, killing mold and bacteria and eliminating the musty odors common on vessels that sit closed in South Florida's heat. It's a tea tree oil-based formula — effective, non-toxic, and safe for use onboard.
