Marine Water Tank Cleaning & Air Purification Products
Marine Cleaning Products for Boats, Yachts & Superyachts
Marine cleaning products are the solutions and treatments that keep onboard water systems, air conditioning, and holding tanks clean, hygienic, and odor-free. This range covers three key areas – air conditioning and duct cleaning, black water tank odor control, and watermaker pump maintenance – all used by professional captains, crew, and boat owners and shipped worldwide from our Fort Lauderdale warehouse.
Air Conditioning & Duct Cleaning
Musty smells from marine air conditioning are caused by mold and bacteria growing on coils and inside ductwork – a problem that worsens fast in hot, humid climates like South Florida. Gelair Coil and Duct Cleaner is a tea tree oil-based solution that eliminates the source rather than masking the smell. Available in a 750ml spray bottle for onboard use and a 20L refill tub for larger vessels and trade applications.
Black Water Tank Odor Control
Holding tank odors are best controlled with biological treatment rather than masking chemicals. Biologic One Shot uses enzymes to break down waste at source, eliminating black water tank odor in marine holding tanks. Available in cases of 12 for regular onboard use.
Watermaker Pump Maintenance
Keeping a high-pressure pump properly lubricated extends its service life significantly. We stock Cat Pump Oil in 21oz bottles and GP Pump Oil in 16oz bottles for the most commonly installed marine watermaker pump types.
Cleaning Products FAQ
Why does my boat’s air conditioning smell musty?
Mold and bacteria growing on the AC coils and inside the ducts. A tea tree oil-based coil and duct cleaner such as Gelair removes the source of the smell instead of covering it up.
How do I stop odor from my yacht’s holding tank?
Use an enzymatic treatment such as Biologic One Shot. Biological products break waste down at source, which makes them a safer long-term fix for black water tank odor than chemical deodorizers.
How do you purify the air on a yacht?
Most onboard air quality problems start in the air conditioning system. Mold and bacteria growing on coils and inside ducts are spread through the cabin every time the AC runs, so the most effective approach is removing the source – cleaning the system with a tea tree oil-based product such as Gelair purifies the air rather than masking odors with fragrances.
