Pool & Spa Water Treatment Products — Metal Removal, Disinfection & Filtration

Pool and spa water treatment products are the chemicals, filters, and treatment systems used to remove metals, prevent staining, disinfect water, and maintain water quality in swimming pools, hot tubs, spas, and onboard jacuzzis. Poor water treatment causes staining on surfaces and equipment, cloudy water, corrosion of fittings and heating elements, and water that is unsafe for bathers. Yacht-Mate Products supplies a specialist range of pool and spa water treatment solutions from Fort Lauderdale, trusted by residential pool owners, marina facilities, and superyacht crew managing onboard pool and spa systems across South Florida and worldwide.

Metal Removal & Stain Prevention — CuLator Metal Eliminator

Metals in pool and spa water — primarily iron, copper, and manganese — are the leading cause of surface staining, cloudy water, and equipment damage. They enter through fill water, corroding pipes, and chemical imbalances, and once staining takes hold it is costly and time-consuming to reverse.

CuLator Metal Eliminator products physically remove dissolved metals from pool and spa water without the use of chemicals — placing a CuLator unit in the skimmer basket or pump basket allows it to absorb and lock away metals before they can cause staining or damage.

We stock the full CuLator range:

CuLator PowerPak 1.0 — for pools up to 20,000 gallons. Removes up to 1 ppm of metals per month from pool water. Place in the skimmer basket.

CuLator Ultra PowerPak 4.0 — for larger pools up to 40,000 gallons or pools with high metal content. Removes up to 4 ppm of metals per month.

CuLator SpaPak — specifically sized for hot tubs, spas, and small pool applications. Removes up to 1 ppm of metals from spa water.

CuLator Plus — enhanced formula for pools with elevated metal levels, providing additional capacity for iron and copper removal.

Metal Stain Removal — Periodic Products

When metal staining has already occurred, Periodic Products Metal Stain Eliminator Kit provides a targeted treatment to remove existing stains from pool and spa surfaces. Compatible with all pool types — concrete, vinyl, fibreglass, and tile — it works on iron, copper, and manganese stains without draining the pool.

For ongoing prevention, the FillFast Professional Metal Remover & Water Pre-Filter for Pools & Spas filters metals out of fill water before they ever enter your pool or spa — the most effective point of prevention. The FillFast PREMIER is the higher-capacity version for larger pools and commercial applications. Replacement filters for both units are available as the FillFast Pool and Spa Replacement Filters (Professional).
