The Pentair Pentek R30 series consists of pleated sediment filter cartridges designed to effectively remove sand, dirt, silt, rust, and scale particles from water supplies. These filters are suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial applications where high dirt-holding capacity and durability are essential.

Key Features:

• Pleated Design: The pleated structure increases the surface area of the filter media, allowing for higher flow rates and efficient filtration. For example, the standard 9.75-inch length cartridge contains over four square feet of polyester fabric, while the larger Big Blue version has more than 16 square feet.

• Durable Construction: Manufactured from a non-woven, reusable polyester fabric, these filters are resistant to both bacteria and chemical attack, making them suitable for a variety of applications. The media is pleated around a polypropylene core for added strength, and the ends are sealed with a thermo-setting vinyl plastisol, forming a unified end cap and gasket.

• Nominal Micron Rating: The R30 series filters have a nominal 30-micron rating, effectively reducing sediment and particulate matter from water supplies.
