3M Aqua-Pure AP917HDS Replacement Water Filter

Our 3M™ Aqua-Pure™ Whole House Sanitary Quick Change Replacement Filter Cartridge AP917HD-S filter reduces sediment and chlorine taste & odor along with providing scale inhibition at a flow rate of up to 10 GPM to meet the needs of larger homes with at least 2.5 bathrooms. We designed the filter to incorporate scale inhibition media to help prevent scale build-up in water-using appliances and piping. Our scale inhibition feature uses polyphosphates in minute quantities to bind calcium and magnesium hardness minerals, preventing them from precipitating out and building up on metallic surface.

We manufacture the 3M™ Aqua-Pure™ Whole House Sanitary Quick Change Replacement Water Filter Cartridge AP917HD-S for the AP904 system as an activated carbon filter with a nominal particulate reduction rating of 5 microns. This cartridge design is suitable for use on both chlorinated (municipal) and non-chlorinated (well water) system.
