A marine watermaker is a reverse osmosis desalination system that converts seawater into clean, drinkable fresh water onboard. It forces seawater through a semi-permeable membrane under high pressure, removing salt and contaminants — giving vessels complete independence from shore-based water supplies wherever they cruise.
How much water can a marine watermaker produce per day?

Do I need a generator to run a watermaker?
Not always. Compact DC watermakers run on 12V or 24V — suited to sailboats and solar-equipped vessels. Larger high-output systems require AC power via generator or inverter. Our team will advise on the right power configuration for your vessel and daily water requirements before you order.
Can I install a watermaker myself?
Simpler modular systems can be DIY-installed if you're comfortable with marine plumbing and basic electrical. Complex framed systems on larger vessels are best installed professionally. How do I maintain a marine watermaker?
