Note: We do not recommend carbon cartridges prior to the water tank as you need some disinfection in the water tank as it is atmospheric and will gas off any unused chlorine and help keep the tank clean. We would recommend to actually put a cap of bleach in the tank to help with the biofilm build-up inside the tank. It is best to use carbon filters after your main water pumps or at the point of use in galleys, ice machines, crew quarters & salon bars.
