Frequently asked questions about New Style Commercial Pre-filter 5 micron, 20 and Oil/ Water Separator

Which housing does this commercial pre-filter fit?

This listing is specifically associated with Sea Recovery FL1115 commercial pre-filter housing. Check the existing housing reference before ordering.

What filtration options are available?

The existing Yacht-Mate listing identifies 5 micron, 20 micron and oil/water separator options.

Can I use this in a different Sea Recovery or HRO housing?

Do not assume compatibility between old, mid and new style commercial pre-filter housings. Match the housing model and cartridge format already installed.

Why does the housing date matter?

The commercial pre-filter housing design changed over time. The approximate date range helps identify which legacy cartridge style is required.

Can Yacht-Mate help identify the correct legacy filter?

Yes. Supplying a housing model, existing cartridge dimensions and clear photos can help confirm the correct replacement before purchase.
